Custom home costs in the Plano area typically range from $200 to $400 per square foot depending on finishes, site conditions, and design complexity. A 3,000 square foot home with mid-to-high-end finishes will generally fall between $600,000 and $1.2 million. We provide detailed, fixed-price estimates before you commit to anything, so you’ll know exactly what you’re working with from the start.

Most custom home builds take between 12 and 18 months from breaking ground, depending on size and complexity. Add two to four months for the design, permitting, and pre-construction planning phase before that. We map out a detailed timeline before we start and keep you updated throughout so there are no surprises.

A production builder builds from a fixed set of floor plans with limited options for customisation. A custom builder like us starts with a blank page and builds entirely around your needs, your lot, and your budget. That means more flexibility, more personal attention, and a home that’s designed for how you actually live rather than how a marketing team thinks you should.

We work both ways. If you already have an architect or designer you love, we’ll collaborate directly with them under one contract and one timeline. If you don’t, we’ll help you find the right design partner for your project and budget. Either way, you won’t be left to manage two separate relationships on your own.

Our fixed-price contracts cover all labour, materials, subcontractor costs, and project management fees agreed at the start. If we miss something in our estimating, that’s on us, not you. The only time costs change is if you request changes to the scope after we’ve signed off on the plan, and even then we’ll price those changes transparently before any work begins.

Yes, and it’s one of the more common ways we work with clients. We’ll assess your lot early in the discovery process — checking for any soil, drainage, zoning, or access considerations that could affect the design or budget. If there are complications, we’ll tell you upfront so you can make an informed decision before committing to a full build.
